Just like Jessica Simpson's never-ending pregnancy, the gingham still hasn't arrived yet. It seems like we've been waiting forever. I know, I know--the anticipation! :) The wait will be over MONDAY! Monday is our scheduled date of delivery & I promise I'll make them available to order as soon as the container hits our warehouse doors. Thanks for your patience. It will be well worth the wait.

While at Market recently I had the chance to talk to other industry professionals regarding different tips and techniques for machine embroidery. There are bunch of creative people out there and I draw a lot of inspiration from them, especially when doing applique work on seersucker items from the Mint line.
To Market, to Market...As usual, I had such a great time at the Atlanta Gift Market! It was nice seeing old friends and meeting new ones. We had lots of questions about applique, fonts and embroidery tips, so we thought we would jot some of them down here.
I just got a huge care package of items in from one of my customers, theflossyfitzy.com, stuffed FULL of items Amy appliqued & embroidered. They're outstanding! Jack & I photographed them on Sunday so you'll see the results of her work (& my lackluster photography skills) on the homepage carousel by the end of this week. Hey! Only 40 days until Black Friday. What a weekend! Jack & I headed to Camp Stewart for Boys. We couldn't believe our eyes when we entered our cabin on opening day & saw Mint® bags peppering the bunks of strangers (now friends). "Wow, Mom! Mint is famous!" Jack said. Most importantly, we had a ball together. Skeet shooting, fishing, rope swings, the blob...even rock climbing! This place has it all.
