UH-OH! If you've already been approved and you're having trouble logging on all of the sudden (not a log in issue, but it says you're blocked & you weren't before)--it may be one of these reasons:
- If it has been a good long while (say 3 months) and you haven't placed an order (by order, we mean your $50 reorder) with Mint® & suddenly you notice you can't log in to your online account, it's because your account is now inactive. To re-activate it, you must re-apply and your next order must reach the minimum opening order of $250 all over again. We have to start all over. After 3 months of inactivity, your 'territory' has been re-opened to accept new Mint retailers in your area--like maybe the store next door. Now, if it's been 3 months and your last order was $1200, that's a different story. Each case might be different. Call us if you think we made a boo boo. Basically, we're just asking that you spend $200 a year at Mint throughout the year so that we know you're not just a personal shopper. If you're a legitimate business, you're thanking me.
- If you were selling our items on eBay or etsy or FACEBOOK in "buy-ins" or in flea markets, we have put your account on 'inactive' status. We've gotten several complaints from our customers. It's just not fair to the others who play by the rules. I know, Marsha, Marsha, Marsha. Please revisit the Terms & Conditions.
- You are not selling our items at a reasonable retail markup. For example, $40 is not reasonable retail markup for a nap mat. Advertised pricing must not be priced below keystone (100% markup) of our regular wholesale price before your charges for monogram or applique. Be fair to everyone, please.
I hope you all understand--this is a lot of work, but it was a request that came LOUD AND CLEAR from the majority of our customers. We're just doing a little maintenance over here that we should've been watching a little more closely...my latest survey in February 2011 prompted us to do this Super Clean Up. Why? It's not fair to my store front retailers, my online retailers and hard working moms out there who are managing retail spaces with employees & overhead, pricey websites & all kinds of businessy business things to manage to have the rules broken or have items not sold at a fair markup. It's also not fair to potential new retailers to hold territories open when certain accounts don't meet the T&C or keep inventory. Please email me at christi@ohmint.com if you have any questions or concerns about this policy. It's not a new policy, but it will begin to be more strongly enforced in the next two weeks. This is to help you all who are stocking dealers of Mint®. We will at look at each case independently. If you feel like we've overlooked something, let me know and we'll re-adress it. ;) Thank you, Christi Chittim
